I love going to thrift stores! You never know what you are going to find while there. I may not always by something but there is always so much to see. Thrift stores are a great place to find things for your DIY projects around the house. My husband is not a fan of going so I went yesterday while Amelia was taking her nap. I took a quick trip to the local Goodwill. (I say quick but on the first Saturday of the month most things in the store are 50% off on that day.) It was packed. I wonder around looking at all the things that they had even though I had a purpose for going today. You have to always look around because you never know what you are going to find. Today, I needed a belt for a dress that I am making and two frames. I found everything that I was looking for during my visit. The best part is that I only paid just over $5 for everything that I bought. The frames need some TLC but that is what I was looking for. I want to be able to make it my own. I also found 2 belts - 1 black and 1 colorful one. I love things that are colorful. Color always makes things awesome! I also found an unexpected gift wrap holder for $0.99. Hopefully I can use this to contain all of the wrapping paper I always insist on having. I figure you never know when you are going to need to give a quick gift and wrapping paper is a must! I cannot wait to share with you what I make of these items. I cannot wait to get started. I am just giddy ready to do some cheap DIY projects!
I paid $1 for each belt, $0.25 for the small wooden frame, $2 for the large wooden frame and $0.99 for the gift wrap holder. What great finds!
